Garden

Got the garden planted this weekend.  A wide variety of plants went in, including corn, tomatoes, cucumber, and a peanut plant.

One of the neighbors also rented a edger for flower beds, and asked if I wanted to use it.  It was way easier then edging by hand, but I did spend most of the weekend working to clean up all the dirt it dug up.

  1. I remember planting peanuts when we were kids. Let me know how they turn out.

  2. I don't remember having peanuts, it should be interesting to see how they turn out.

Most everything in there is an experiment, I would say only about half of the plants produce anything we can use. :)

  3. The peanuts may be tricky. They prefer sandy soil and we do lack that around here.
